DynaLock 3101C CHGO Delay Egress Maglock is engineered to meet stringent life safety codes while delivering exceptional security for both rated and non-rated doors and frames. This single electromagnetic lock features a delayed egress function, compliant with Chicago Building Code, making it an ideal choice for high-security environments. The 3101C system stands out with advanced technology that offers remarkable resistance to electrical surges and a virtually maintenance-free sensing system. In typical installations, the door remains closed and secured until an attempt to exit is made. A gentle pressure of 15 lbs. or less will unlatch the door, triggering a delay egress timer that activates an audible alert and a pulsating red LED for 15 seconds (with a 30-second option). After the timer concludes, the lock releases, and the audible sound shifts to a continuous tone with a green LED until the door is closed and reset. With a one-piece housing design, this maglock operates on 12/24 VDC/VAC and includes FasTrak mounting for easy installation. It also features built-in key switch access for reset or bypass. The unit comes with a lifetime warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind.

The 3101C Series is designed to satisfy life safety codes and high security needs at the same time. The next generation 3101C system offers better technology, resistance to electrical surges, and a virtually maintenance free sensing system. In a typical installation, the door is normally closed and latched by the existing mechanical door hardware and magnetically secured by the 3101C Lock. Attempting to exit by applying 15 Lbs. or less pressure to the door will cause the door to become unlatched, and activate the 3101C delay egress timer. The audible and red LED will pulsate for 15 seconds (30 seconds field selectable). After the time delay has elapsed, the lock will release and the audible will sound continuously with a green LED until the door is shut and the lock is reset. Reset and/or bypass are accomplished with a built-in key switch or remote signal. The system unlocks automatically when the 3101B is integrated with the building emergency fire alarm system or power is removed. Fire alarm contacts on the 3101C Lock are field selectable for NO and NC signals
