Description

Selby K531335 Swirl Cam Assembly Cover Cap

SELBY K531335 Cover Cap for Swirl Cam Assembly is a robust solution designed to enhance the strength and stability of your cabinetry. This metal cover cap, finished in sleek satin chrome, is engineered specifically for the Swirl Cam Assembly K531335. Its innovative design features a three-point stem contact, ensuring that heavy loads are held securely in place. The constant equal tension mechanism resists loosening from vibrations, making it ideal for high-traffic applications. With the ability to accommodate panels ranging from 3/4″ to 1-3/8″ thick, this cover cap provides versatility for various projects. Locking the assembly is straightforward with a No. 8 Allen wrench, which enables a secure and reliable connection. Notably, the spiral design promotes a steady closing action, as opposed to a traditional one-point wedge, ensuring that your boards are drawn together tightly, even under unusual stress. For optimal performance, be sure to use a knife edge insert nut with each right-angle connection. The recommended tool for installation is a 10mm Forstner bit (CMT537.100.31). Weighing in at just 0.030 lbs, the SELBY K531335 Cover Cap is both lightweight and durable, making it an essential component for any woodworking project.
