NGP 5050C 60″ Self-Adhesive Silicone Fire and Smoke Seal is designed to deliver superior performance in both fire safety and moisture resistance. Constructed from synthetic rubber polymer Siloxane, this sealing solution provides excellent flexibility and memory, ensuring a tight fit that adapts to various applications. With a temperature range of -100°F to 500°F, it remains flexible even in extreme conditions. This fire and smoke seal is flame resistant and tested to BHMA standards for air infiltration and heat resistance. It effectively controls smoke and drafts, meeting stringent requirements for hollow metal and wood fire doors, rated up to 3 hours and 90 minutes, respectively. The modified acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive offers high initial adhesion and long-term holding power, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Available in a charcoal color and measuring 1/2″ wide by 1/4″ tall, the seal is offered in various lengths, including 17′, 20′, 21′, 25′, and 300′ rolls.
